Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation:

Shortness of breath (dyspnea) is a common feature of many cardiopulmonary conditions. Our therapists recognize the need to address a patient’s functional needs with these limitations in mind. We also routinely instruct patients in various techniques to relieve some of the distress of dyspnea.

Neurological Rehabilitation:

After a neurological event (CVA, TIA, hemorrhagic stroke, Parkinson’s disease, etc.), patients require specialized care to have the best chance at restoring their function.

Fall Prevention:

One third of all seniors over the age of 65 have at least one fall per year. Our therapy staff is educated in identifying and addressing fall risk factors. Our therapists do this by training patients in the use of devices to assist walking and also by improving the patient’s balance and coordination abilities.
